Brought to you by Nike and YFM, #RebelsOnAir made a debut on 4th March and it was an immediate success, now the second edition will be back on your airwaves this Saturday.
Taking over the airwaves will be Motswako Rapper Khuli Chana and Sneaker Culture aficionado Mkayfrash, hosted by Scoop Makhathini and DJ Entro.
The show will fuse sport and culture by celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 1, the shoe that pushed Air Innovation to new heights, and introducing the month-long fresh line-up of Air including the Air Max 1 OG, Air Max 1 atmos Elephant, Air Max 1 Master, and the Air VaporMax.
Khuli Chana is a known as the Motswako rapper. Born in the Mmabatho, North West Province and started rapping at a young age. He was a member of a band called Morafe then pursued to go solo after the band stopped releasing music. Chana rose to fame after being one of the opening acts for rapper Drake.
Mkayfrash is the don of South African sneaker culture. He’s the founder and host of the online magazine Hunting For Kicks and part of the Boyz’nBucks crew — arguably the Justice League of the local street scene.
Catch Rebels on Air this Saturday, 11 March 2017 on YFM (3pm – 6pm).
