Portraits of Barack and Michelle Obama unveiled

Portraits of former President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama were unveiled at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery. The artworks were created by African American artists, Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald.

The artistic work shows Barack Obama in a suit sitting on a chair with a floral background. Michelle Obama’s artwork shows her in a white gown with abstract African patterns.
