Dear White People Season 2 made its debut early this month on Netflix. For those who haven’t got a chance to watch the series and you are anxious as to what is it all about – Dear White People is set among a diverse group of students of colour as they navigate a predominantly white Ivy League college where racial tensions are often swept under the rug.
So to celebrate the new season – Netflix has released a video with the cast of Dear White People pronouncing and guessing the meaning of some words in South African languages.
The cast includes Antoinette Robertson (Coco Conners), Logan Browning (Samantha White) and DeRon Horton (Lionel Higgins) trying to figure out words like Bhek’indaba zakho, Haibo, Umlungu and more.
