Rapper Emtee is reportedly in a distasteful relationship with his record label – Ambitiouz Entertainment.
To many, this will come as no surprise, as there has been a strong word on the street that Emtee wants out of the label.
The label is no stranger to controvesy and losing artists even after a massive fallout they had back in 2017, when they lost B3nchmarq, Fifi Cooper and A-Reece and Amanda Black who left last year.
Now according to a report by Sunday Sun, Emtee has been stripped of his property and wheels.
The rapper’s manager, Lebo Maswanganyi confirmed to the paper that Emtee has been kicked out of his Midrand home which the label rented for him.
Emtee has been ranting on social media and hinting that things are sour between him and the label – from releasing new projects and marketing of his recent album (DIY 2). In a recent post, he has even gone to let his followers about new booking details, which are not related to Ambitiouz Entertainment.
His manager told the paper “He [Emtee] doesn’t owe the company any album. He’s trying to find a way to leave without burning bridges.”
The report further reveals that with Ambitiouz Entertainment, he is not allowed to do any collaborations with artists outside of the label.
The label has not shed any information or statement on this report. Ambitiouz Entertainment remains home to artists such as Sjava, MissPru, Saudi, LaSauce, KLY and KidTini to name a few.
