WATCH: PUMA takes the spotlight in new Nando’s TV Ad

It’s just a bowl

Known for the coolest ads, Nando’s has got South Africans all in their feels with their latest ‘Boujee Bowl’ TV advert – paying homage to all the sneaker lovers, ‘flexers’, and ‘bowlers’ who are doing the most to live their best lives – for the Gram.



PUMA takes the early spotlight with their latest sneakers, Alteration PN-1 in Yellow and the multi-colored Alteration Kurve appearing in the commercial.  The 35-seconds-long Ad stars the so-named ‘sneakfreak99’ who goes Live on his Insta to flex by pouring the Nando’s meal into the PUMA Alteration PN-1 sneaker. Bet you can’t ignore his combo’s too.

The advert laughs at the “for the Gram” phenomena, from the spine-tingling sensory stimulus (for you ASMR lovers) to over-the-top dine-out vibes at the invitation of a hilariously gawdy forex trader.

Influencer Pharoafi, also stars on the ad trying to get that ‘Foodie’ perfect Insta-snap.

What is a Boujee Bowl?

Getting real clout is easy with bowl food served on a bed of rice, accompanied by generous portions of sweet corn, chargrilled red peppers, baby spinach, and flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken (or halloumi for non-meat eaters).
