Here’s a look at AKA’s Reebok Classic sneaker collab #TheSneAKA

AKA x Reebok Classic Sneaker

Super Mega, famed AKA took to social media to confirm his long-awaited sneaker collaboration with Reebok Classic.

In 2017, AKA announced his partnership with sportswear company Reebok SA and was followed by a major seven-figure deal as the FACE of Reebok Classic AFRICA, joining a global campaign with hip-hop star Future, supermodel Gigi Hadid and rap duo Rae Sremmurd.

Following our 2018 post (below) with the teaser of the Super Mega x Reebok Classic Sneaker, we can confirm that the sneaker will release on Saturday, 26 October 2019 retailing around R1400 at selected Reebok stores and Reebok.co.za via first come first served based.

#TheSneAKA is a Reebok Classic Leather model, features an embossed “Supa” and “Mega” on the back heels. Colour-wise we see a mix of Red, Yellow, Grey, and White. The inside of the shoe is done in Yellow, as well as the insoles that feature a Black pattern. The shoe will be a highly exclusive limited edition product. Only 600 pairs are being made. Each box is individually numbered and signed by AKA. Each pair comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Now with the lastest, it looks like AKA’s collaborative sneaker with Reebok is finally on the way as the rapper posted a snippet of the shoe. The close-up look, confirms the use of yellow interior, and a pattern graphic insole with Reebok Classic x AKA branding.

Although the Reebok Classic is a simple looking shoe when it comes to aesthetics, there’s no denying that new additional elements would give it new life.

Details on this collab have yet to be unveiled by Reebok or AKA, so make sure to stay tuned for more updates on this potential release.
