For the past four years, Hennessy Artistry has been selecting artists which exemplify the diverse demographic of the Hennessy consumer, ensuring the music compliments the notion of blending, and this year is no different.
This year’s collaborating artists; Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse, Flash Republic, Zonke, Crazy White Boy, Slikour and Zakes Bantwini have been hard at work to create a track which has been dubbed a ‘musical explosion’ by Mabuse himself. Together with internationally acclaimed producers, The Layabouts, 2011 will see an original version and a remixed track released.
The prestigious Halo concert will once again be held at The Venue in the exclusive Melrose Arch precinct in Johannesburg on the 17th of September.
The lead up to the Halo concert, Hennessy Artistry will travel the country in August and September, showcasing six regional build up events. From Cape Town to Soweto and Port Elizabeth to Umlazi, each regional event will feature a live performance by one of the six collaborating artists, along with DJs from Metro FM and the ever popular ProVerb as MC.
