Lira will top the bill at a talent-packed festival at FNB Stadium in Nasrec on September 3.
Born Lerato Molapo, Lira will share the stage with an array of acclaimed musicians on Joburg Day as part of spring celebrations.
“The organisers have put together a great mix of artists to entertain the expected crowd,” said Stadium Management South Africa’s spokesperson Brescia Bianco-Badenhorst.
“We expect a big crowd because we are bringing some of the most popular groups.
“Family and friends can shake off the winter chill and enjoy their picnic. There will be great entertainment in what we expect to be a fun-filled, action-packed day.

“Music lovers can also get tickets from www.computicket.com. They range in price from R210 for adults and R80 for children between the ages of three and 12.
Other performing artists includes: Freshlyground, Goodluck, The Arrows, Zebra and Giraffe, Lavuvuzela, Prime Circle, Liquideep, The Parlotones, and Locnville.
