Actor and musician Bonginkosi Dlamini, known as “Zola”, was released on R1 000 bail by the Brixton Magistrate’s Court, according to a newspaper report on Wednesday.
Dlamini handed himself in to police in Brixton, Johannesburg, on Tuesday after he allegedly assaulted a Sunday World journalist Ggwako Malatji and set dogs on him at the weekend.

The assault case was postponed to November 11, the Sowetan reported.
According to the report, Malatji had gone to Dlamini’s house in Melville for an interview when the alleged attack occurred.
