American R&B Crooners, Carl Thomas, Tank and Avant are coming to South Africa in December.
Thomas, Tank and Avant will be performing at Rose Garden (Lock Logan) in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 03 December 2011, for a Concert dubbed “Summer of Love” hosted by Label Monte.
Supporting local acts includes: Ringo Madlingozi, Theo Kgosinkwe, afro-Pop duo Ala Yen, and Peter Nthwane.
The show is said to have been inspired by a similar event with the same theme hosted previously in the States.
“My partner, Monte Modisenyane happened to be in the US when a similar event was hosted with the very same artist line up and was impressed. We felt that the event would be well suited to the summer feel of Bloemfontein,” said Olebogeng Duiker, co-organiser.
The show will be the second of its kind following the Label Monte music festival held in 2009.
“Although it is the second of its kind, it will be the first event featuring international artists bearing in mind that it is a self-financed event because we have no sponsors,” Duiker said.
Tickets will be sold through Captain Dorego’s at R200 per person and will be sold for R 250 at the gate on the day of the event.
