Well controversial fast food giants Nando’s have released their new television advert dubbed “Last Dictator Standing”, which depicts Robert Mugabe hosting a dinner for his dictator “friends” Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, P. W. Botha and Idi Amin who are all deceased.
“Gather some friends and share a Meal for 6 this festive season.”

The Last Dictator Standing campaign was developed at Black River F.C, Johannesburg, by executive creative director Ahmed Tilly, creative director Suhana Gordhan, agency producer Iolanthe Grobler, art director Monde Siphamla, copywriter Nhlanhla Ngcobo.
Filming was shot by director Dean Blumberg via Bouffant, Johannesburg, with director of photography Willie Nel, art director Andrew Chandler, producers Melina McDonald and Chanelle Critchfield.
Post production was done at Left Post Production by editor Saki Bergh. Visual effects were produced at Blade Works by Flame operator Paul Marangos.
“Those Were The Days”, sung by Mary Hopkin, was arranged by Alun Richards at Cut & Paste Generation. The song is an English version of the Russian song, “Dorogoj Dlinnoju” (By the Long Road).
