The 3rd Buyel’ Ekhaya festival will feature some of the best performers in South Africa including: Zahara, Asanda Bam, Pu2Ma, Caiphus Semenya, Oliver Mthukudzi, Zakes Bantwini, DJ Tira, Professor, Thandiswa Mazwai, Putco Mafani and Zizo Beda.
The Festival will be held at Buffalo City Cricket stadium on Sunday the 18th December 2011, Gates will be open from 14H00 until late.
Buyel’Ekahaya is an inclusive musical festival, one in which all South Africans are encouraged to participate and share in the experience. Although held in the Eastern Cape, it’s not subjected to only the locals from that province. This is a family affair therefore all people from across the country are encouraged to include the Eastern Cape in their holiday plans.
“Each year we are seeing bigger numbers coming from various corners of South Africa, which is a testament to how popular the festival is becoming. In time we want to attract people as far as Nigeria and the rest of Africa” said Hlubi Mazwai, Festival Producer.
