YFM is not only known for blazing the radio airwaves with good music, but also for releasing some of the best house music compilations on the local house music scene. The latest release is the super fresh Hot 99 Dance compilation mixed by the station’s own Just Mo.

This offering is a natural progression from the popularity of the Hot 99 Dance Chart hosted by Just Mo (Fridays at 9am – 10am and then again at 9pm – 10pm), which drew a huge response from house heads. It was only natural to give the people what they wanted – all of the hottest tracks on one killer disc!

The unique selling point about this offering is that it moves away from being a throw-in of the latest tracks, to being a well thought out compilation that takes the listener on a musical journey. It starts off with chilled deep house beats that prepare the listener to kick back. It then picks up momentum with deep house bangers that get people dancing up a sweat, followed by a smooth landing with soulful tunes that bring the listener to the end of the journey.

There are 13 bangers on the compilation, including local and international hits. Look out for Falling by Ben Westbeech, Idiosyncracy by Osunlade (both highly recognised artists both here and abroad) and also I’m so Hung Up On You (Infinite Boys remix) by Nastee Nev featuring Donald Sheffey.
