VETERAN actor Luthuli Dlamini is returning to the small screen to play Stan in e.tv’s Scandal!.
In a dramatic storyline featuring Daniel (Sello Maake ka Ncube) and Thato (Rami Chuene), the return of the character Stan threatens to throw the Nyathi family into disarray, as dark secrets are disclosed.
Dlamini — who has appeared in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet in London, the West End play Henry & Charlie, as well as SABC drama series’ The Res, Justice for All and Generations will be on screens from Wednesday, 14 December 2011.
The storyline began with Daniel receiving a message from Stan that said he intended returning to South Africa and to NZH in December. It was a message that got Daniel worried as he guards a terrible secret, which Stan’s return threatens to expose.
In an attempt to buy off Stan he manipulated Tino into believing that Abigail was alive, and faked Shakira’s kidnapping to swindle money out of Tino. Shakira was forced to play along against her will, because Daniel threatened to expose her as Abigail’s murderer.
Daniel’s plan is to walk away with the loot and pay to have Stan “taken care of”. But things don’t go according to plan.
When Stan returns Daniel is forced to take drastic action.
