Melinda Bam has been crowned the new Miss South Africa. The event took place on Sunday, 11 December 2011 at Sun City Superbowl, her first princess is Remona Moodley, 22, and second princess Thuli Sangwini, 21.
Melinda will represent the country locally and internationally, and will also participate in the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants.
Her prize package includes:
– a car
– a cellphone
– active wear and
– spa treatments
She will also receive designer clothes and shoes and be provided with specialised dry-cleaning services. Hairstylists will enhance her beauty and she will receive cosmetics and a glamorous wardrobe with something for every occasion.
