Lifestyle pantyliners made an impact in 2011 with Bonang Matheba as the official brand ambassador and innovative new product launches and making a difference through the Carry Yourself with Confidence campaign.

The brand truly made a difference in helping young girls in disadvantaged areas and aims to continue to make a big impact on these girls’ lives on a bigger scale this year as well as adding even more value by introducing two esteemed experts to the brand.
“As women we are faced with many challenges, from body changes to relationships and social pressures. Many young women do not have the guidance and advice that they need to be able to work through these life changes,” comments Amanda Dlamini, brand manager of Lifestyle. “Last year we introduced the Carry Yourself with Confidence campaign to address these concerns in various disadvantaged schools; we also established a growing online presence, where thousands of girls get personal and general advice on our facebook and online site. We are delighted to have two leading experts join the team as consultants on our Girl Talk section“, psychologist Debbie Bright and gynaecologist and obstetrician Dr Lalloo, who will share their expertise of advice after many years of private practice.”
Just like Bonang Matheba, Lifestyle’s brand ambassador whose contract has been renewed for 2012, psychologist Debbie Bright and Dr Lalloo are passionate about uplifting South African women. “What excites me most about working with Lifestyle is the fact that I will be able to help inspire young women to acquire a deeper sense of self which will hopefully help inspire change. I believe that young women need to be educated to know that they always have a choice,” remarks Psychologist Debbie Bright.

“I am delighted that I have the opportunity to provide valuable information and service to young women through my relationship with Lifestyle,” comments Lalloo. “I love what I do and find it so rewarding. To be able to reach out to these women by either making them comfortable, being able to reassure or help solve their problems, makes me excited that I will somehow be making a difference to their lives.”
Bonang echoes the sentiments of Bright and Dr Lalloo, “I loved being involved in the Carry Yourself with Confidence campaign and with Lifestyle last year, especially as it celebrated young women, which I got to see first hand. The upliftment of young women is something I am very passionate about and I am thrilled to be the brand ambassador again this year and hope to make an even bigger impact with Lifestyle and the Carry Yourself with Confidence campaign.”
There is no doubt that these three individual powerhouses are a perfect fit for the Lifestyle brand. With big ideas and many innovations planned 2012 will most certainly be a year that Lifestyle makes a huge difference for young women in South Africa.
