SABC2’s drama soapie, Muvhango, continues to grow its family with the recent addition of actress and former Miss Teen South Africa, Phuti Khomo, and singer Lucia Mthiyane, to the cast.
Khomo will be playing the role of Carol Chabeli, the wife of Njabulo Chabeli (played by new recruit Gabriel Mini). She is a fashion designer and will be first seen on the show on Wednesday, 21 March.
Mthiyane will be playing the role of Selinah Mdluli, mother to Pearl (a receptionist at Mukwevho Holdings), a role played by Jo-Anne Reyneke. She will be seen on-screen starting from Tuesday, 3 April.
“The production house (Word of Mouth) ran auditions looking for these characters and we are happy with what we found and we believe these actors will add more zest, vigour to an already stellar cast of Muvhango. We hope the viewers will fall in love with their characters, making Muvhango a soapie to watch,”
said SABC2 Publicity’s Lebo Malete.
