This autumn, Hennessy Cognac presents Hennessy Remixed – a showcase of Hennessy mixability through a phenomenal music tour. DJs SPHEtacula, Naves, Lulo Café and Cndo have been invited to headline the Hennessy Remixed Tour with performances around the country, each artist mixing their own unique beats alongside the signature flavours of Ginger, Apple, Soda and Tonic – a distinctive taste for every occasion.
Hennessy Remixed will see the four DJs playing at six events around South Africa, kicking off with Solly’s Tavern in Cape Town, moving on to Sedibeng in Soweto, Cubana in Bloemfontein, Diamonds in PE, Max’s Lifestyle in UmLazi and finishing at Jack Budha in Pretoria.
“The notion of mixing Cognac is not something new; in fact, from as early as the 16th century the product has been consumed with water. Cognac was also often the spirit of choice for cocktails during the 19th century, when discerning gentlemen wanted something of quality,” commented Avukile Mabombo, Hennessy Cognac SA Brand Manager. “Hennessy Remixed will highlight Hennessy V.S, a young, vigorous cognac with versatility that can be enjoyed neat but also lends itself to mixing with flavours that still allow its character to stand out.”
