Apple announced (16 April 2012) that the new iPad ( iPad 3) will launch in South Africa on 27 April. Local pricing has not yet been announced.
Local Apple distributors Core said that details of local recommended retail pricing for the new iPad will be available for South Africa next week.
On Friday, April 27, the new iPad will also become available in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa, and Thailand.
Be aware, that even though “the new iPad” will have 4G capable radios, it will only reach 3G speeds onSouth African networks.
