Do you want to join the music game? Want to gain experience how record label operates? If so, Sheer Sound is seeking two individuals wanting to to work for a record label.
Sheer Sound presently has two apprenticeship positions to fill:
1) An individual for the record company side of the business, dealing largely with African focussed content (jazz, world, traditional, afropop, afrosoul). Office admin, online and marketing assistance [some A&R].
2) Another individual, with a focus more on management and touring facilitation – both local and international focuses (in the genre’s of rock/ pop/ singer songwriter).
Some experience, passion and knowledge, of music and the industry (and/or studies thereto) + basic PC literacy, are essential.
