Kaya FM’s morning drive show, 180 with Bob welcomes a new co-host from Monday 10 September 2012. And it’s none other than the formidable Kuli Roberts.
Kuli Roberts, a South African fashion and beauty tabloid journalist and television presenter, started her journalism career at Fair Lady, before moving to Drum where she was fashion and beauty editor and then You,Pace and the tabloid, Sunday World.
She is best known for co-presenting the SABC2 reality television show What Not to Wear. She is also the host of Headline, which can be seen on DStv’s Mzansi Magic channel as well as the telenovela, Inkaba.
Roberts gained notoriety with her Bitch’s Brew column, building a reputation as an outspoken social figure with a distinct opinon. Love or hate her, you can’t ignore the charm and character that is Kuli Roberts and Kaya FM is excited to have her on board. Greg Maloka, Managing Director of Kaya FM, says “After extensive discussions with Kuli we are thrilled to have her join 180 with Bob.” He adds, “She’ll be adding a female voice to our hugely popular breakfast drive time show and we can’t wait to see the magic that’s created on air with Bob and Kuli.”
