Are you the funniest person in the country? Are you a great stand-up comedian? Do you think you could handle performing a set at Comedy Central Live at Parker’s with a star-studded line-up?
Comedy Central, channel 122 on DStv, will be running an amateur talent content at Sunday-nite stand-up fixture The Box Comedy Nights, with the comedians and MCs Goliath & Goliath, and the POPArt Theatre, Maboneng Precinct (Johannesburg).

– Every Sunday night from 7 April, Comedy Central is reserving two open mic slots for comedy wannabes who want to try out their sets before a live audience.
– Each week, one winner will be chosen by the audience and Goliath & Goliath, with eight candidates going forward to a special finale on Sunday, 2 June.
– The ultimate winner will get his break at Comedy Central Presents … Live at Parker’s (on Wednesday, 26 June), hosted by comedy legend, Joe Parker alongside other top comics.
The episode featuring the winner will broadcast on Comedy Central on Friday, 16 August at 09:55pm.
