SABC2 Motswako moves to a NEW slot_

“The channel recently launched its new on-air look and this has afforded us the opportunity to reshuffle some of our properties to more suitable slots. The move of Motswako to the Wednesday 18:00 time slot will give more viewers the opportunity to engage in relevant and critical issues that affect women. Motswako was voted the best talk show at this year’s South African Film and Television Awards and we look forward to our viewer’s continued support on this show,”

said SABC2’s acting programme manager, Jacqui Hlongwane.

Motswako is an established pillar programme on SABC2, which is designed to create dialogue and engage the channel’s cosmopolitan female viewers in issues relevant to their lives and future. The show addresses pertinent issues such as female empowerment and women’s leadership; topics are female-specific with a strong focus on informing while entertaining. The show also encourages the dynamic, aspirational and inspirational upliftment of women in general.

The movies will now start half an hour earlier on a Monday from the previous 22:00 slot to 21:30.

Motswako will no broadcast at 18:00 on SABC2 from Wednesday, 8 May.
