The actress, who has had roles in Interxesions, Sokhulu and Partners and Zone 14, among others, has now scored herself a gig on e.tv’s biggest soapie, Rhythm City.
Dambisa Maqoba, e.tv’s publicity assistant, confirms the news.
“She’ll play a character by the name of Lerato, Fats’s cousin. She’s the epitome of all Fats’s aggravations. She’s vain, flirtatious and well aware of how good looking she is.”
And Lerato uses her looks to her advantage, he says, twisting vulnerable men around her pretty little finger. “She’s very ambitious and will stop at nothing to get what she wants.”
Maqoba won’t say how long the actress will be on the soapie, but viewers should expect to see her from July or so, he says.
