Multi-talented vocalist, Nokukhanya Dlamini, and Afro-jazz artist, Mimi Mtshali, will showcase their musical skills during a live performance at the fourth installment of the Lion of Africa Insurance Music Expressions series, taking place at Africa’s premiere home of live entertainment, Joburg Theatre in Braamfontein, on Friday 02 August 2013.
Nokukhanya, a talented vocalist, songwriter, actress and performer is no stranger to the music industry, having worked with Gospel Choir, Joyous Celebration, and releasing her debut album ‘Tribute to you’, produced by legendary jazz musician, Themba Mkhize.
She will share the stage with UCT Jazz Honours graduate, Mimi Mtshali, who rose to stardom with her Metro FM Award-winning ‘Essence of My Soul’ debut solo album.

The music series aims to unearth new talent in the performing arts arena by featuring some of South Africa’s top music performers alongside other emerging creative talent in the performing arts.
