This Heritage month SABC3’s breakfast show “Expresso”, will simulcast with three African language radio stations, Ukhozi FM, Lesedi FM and Ligwalagwala FM.
Listeners of the three popular stations will be able to watch their favourite DJ’s live on TV as they present their breakfast shows.
Together with the DJ’s, Expresso presenters will explore heritage games, traditional cuisine, fashion, attire and style, and of course music that would otherwise be foreign to others.
Lucky listeners and viewers will get a chance to experience the simulcast live on Tuesday, 24 September breakfast show. They could win an all expenses paid trip to Cape Town to attend the in-studio action. For entry details they should watch Expresso and listen to their favourite participating stations.
The three different stations will simulcast on the following days:
Tuesday, 10 September – Ligwalagwala FM;
Tuesday, 17 September – Ukhozi FM; and
Tuesday, 24 September – Lesedi FM.
Tuesday, 24 September, is a public holiday on which South Africans across the spectrum are encouraged to celebrate their culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions, in the wider context of a nation that belongs to all of its people.
