The much anticipated annual Matric Q&A supplement will be published on Sunday, 15 September and Monday, 16 September in the Sunday Times and the Sowetan newspapers respectively.
The guide is an annual standalone, 48-page tabloid supplement containing Grade 12 model exam question papers and answers written by top teachers and endorsed by advisers at the National Department of Basic Education.
With final exams in October, learners are in the last stretch of their schooling career and will be able to use this crucial resource to check their exam readiness before they write their final exams. The supplement covers subjects that have the highest learner enrolment and 2013 contains mock exam question papers and answers for: Accounting, Life Sciences, Mathematical Literacy, Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
The supplement is used for revision purposes and every year Times Media commissions new exemplars and memoranda; affording pupils a new set of up to date and syllabus relevant case studies. “Education is the building block of society, and the Matric exams are the final hurdle for learners before they take the next step to furthering their studies or entering the working world. Exam time is a stressful and our Matric Q&A supplement creates an opportunity for learners to walk into the test venue with the peace of mind that they are thoroughly prepared,” says Suzan Chala, Times Media Education managing editor.
The Matric Q&A will be published on Sunday, 15 September in the Sunday Times and on Monday, 16 September in the Sowetan. Grade 12 learners will also be able to access the supplement online at www.timeslive.co.za.
