This October The Blacks Only Comedy Show will take South Africa by storm, with the Bling-Bling Tour.
Expect the sound of light hitting elaborate amounts of silver, platinum and diamonds to leave a city near you in stiches. Starting off on 04th October at The Grand Arena, Grand West Casino in Cape Town moving on to The Boardwalk in P.E on 05th October and finally jetting back home to the City of Gold on the 12th October at The Big Top Arena, Carnival City.
Always known for bringing up and coming comedians to the forefront of SA comedy, each week an announcement of the newest comedians on The Blacks Only Comedy Show line-up will be made.
The line-up will include:
– David Kau will once again reprise his role as MC for the tour, Nine years ago David hosted his first Blacks Only Comedy Show, today this is one of the more popular events on South Africa’s social calendar.
– Skhumba Hlophe: One of South Africa’s funniest from Tembis, Skhumba Hlophe has made a mark in the South African comedy industry. Since his 1st time on the Blacks Only Comedy stage, he has headlined the show and continued to give the audience some of his best material.
– Sifiso Nene: Two-time Comics Choice Award winner Sifiso Nene continues to impress the Blacks Only Comedy show audience. Expect his killer Zulu punchlines on this Bling-Bling Tour.
– Thapelo Tips Seemise: Also known as Shampoo from the popular series Taxi Ride, Tips is a Blacks Only Comedy Show favorite. Look forward to leaving
the show with some catchy phrases from him and a standing ovation worthy set.
– Marc Lottering, Joining The Blacks Only line-up direct from Strictly Come Dancing South Africa, is one of South Africa’s top comedians. He has been in the funny business for 13 years and continues to keep audiences in stitches across the country.
– Chester Missing/Conrad Koch: As a political analyst come weekly columnist for award winning news site ZA News – Mr Chester Missing has broken new ground with his outrageous, hard-hitting, funny and frank interviews with South Africa’s political elite. The interviewees including Gwede Mantashe, Zwelinzima Vavi, Helen Zille, Mosiuoa Lekota, Blade Nzimande, Patricia De Lille, Bantu Holomisa and others
– Tumi Morake by far the funniest female comedian in the country and will be on stage at the Blacks Only Bling Bling tour direct from her debut at The Edinburgh Festival.
Chris Forrest has been on the forefront of the South African Comedy scene since the late nineties. His unique dry sense of humour, quick wit and intelligent comedy has made him one of the country’s most popular comedians and ensured that audiences are left in stitches wherever he goes.
