SABC2 and WORD OF MOUTH PICTURES have once again raised the curtain of performance by welcoming the new Jazz Lounge owner Ms Chichi, played by Thuli Madihlaba known to the music industry as CHOMEE.
This talented singer, songwriter and choreographer joins the top ensemble cast which includes seasoned actors such as Sindi Dlathu, Dingaan Mokebe, Rami Chuene and Lillian Dube to name a few.
The sultry and bubbly Thuli will be playing the role of Chichi a well-known socialite, always seen at the hottest events in town. She uses her very sexy charm to get her way. Thuli/Chomee is one of the country top performers with five studio recorded albums and metro award under her wing. She has recently released a song titled Jacknife with DJ Euphonik.
“After vigorous and lengthy auditions we finally settled on Thuli Madihlaba, she has the ability to bring a rare, women’s intuition to a character. She (Chichi) can come across as innocent, but her valor will make her enemies know who they are dealing with”,
said Muvhango Publicist, Kgalema Eugene Mametse.
Thuli Madihlaba has already started shooting with the production and will debut on Monday, 7 October 2013
ABOUT THE ROLE OF CHICHI
Chichi is a well-known socialite, always seen at the hottest events in town. Born, Nomzamo Msibi in Soweto, Chichi is the first born daughter of a school principal and a nurse. Her family means a lot to her and she makes time to visit her parents and her two younger siblings whenever she can. She’s always supported them financially, ever since she got her first pay cheque. A few years ago, Chichi convinced her parents to retire and bought them a house in KZN.
