Ferguson Films has gone into production with season two of the riveting drama Rockville for Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161).
“We’re very excited to have commissioned a second season of Rockville,” says M-Net director of local lnterest channels, Yolisa Phahle.
“The quality, compelling narrative and high production value of the first season has paved the way for another 10 episodes, confirming our belief that telling stories which reflect the diversity and reality of life in South Africa is what viewers want to see.”
Rockville season two again sees Ferguson Films work with series producer, TV veteran Bobby Heaney.
The central theme for season two revolves around the spoken and unspoken obligations within families.
Do the sons and daughters bear the sins of their mothers and fathers is a question that viewers will have in mind when they watch the drama unfold.
Rockville season two will debut in 2014 on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161).
