Amstel is proud to present Zonke at the last Golden Hour of 2013, taking place at the Durban Jazz Festival on December 26th at the Hazelmere Dam in Durban, KZN.
This laid-back, open-air festival is in its 11th year and will feature a mix of the best Jazz, Soul, R & B and Afro-Pop.
Zonke, is without a doubt South Africa’s leading female hit-maker, not just as a multi-platinum selling artist, but also a dominant force in urban songwriting for artists across the country. Recently this beautiful, driven, highly talented artist added yet another accolade to her growing collection, as she was named the Metro Award for Best Female Artist 2013.
Zonkes’ Amstel Golden Hour performance will see her supported by a live orchestra – complete with horns and string sections – stunning visuals, special effects and amazing costume designs that are bound to transform the stage into a magical landscape and create a timeless moment for fans to enjoy.
As Zonke explains, “I am so excited about this event as I have choreographed a full stage production. I always want to give my fans the best possible experience, and being part of the Amstel Golden Hour has given me the freedom to create something truly wonderful and memorable. It’s a great way to end 2013!”
The Amstel Golden Hours of 2013 have showcased some of the most dynamic and talented South African artists, from Mafikizolo, Donald and Toya de Lazy to L’Vovo and Khuli Chana amongst others.
