The annual heat Hot 100 list has been announced and SABC3 Top Billing presenters Jeannie D, Bonang Matheba and Jonathan Boynton-Lee have made the list for 2013 as voted by the public.
Now in its tenth year, heat Magazine calls on readers to vote for their favourite celebrity, both local and international, with the top 100 celebrities announced and showcased in a special feature at the end of each year.
Commenting on the results for 2013, editor of heatmagazine, Andre Neveling, says: “The votes were interesting this year, with lots of newcomers making the list. However, the big fan bases were evident and supported their idols in large numbers.” In total, 55 new celebrities made it onto the heat Hot 100 list. Impressively, 40 of the top 100 celebrities are South African.
Commented Lefa Afrika, acting head of Bouquet, SABC3: “We value all consumer feedback mechanisms and the heat Hot 100 initiative provides a great barometer that confirms that our products are meeting consumer expectations.”
Top Billing co-executive producer Patience Stevens added: “We congratulate our presenters on this achievement and we wish Bonang, Jeannie and Jonathan on-going success.”
