The Durban Jazz Festival to celebrate Madiba’s legacy

Mzansi’s top artist will come together to honour global legend and Icon Nelson Mandela at the 11th Installment Durban Jazz Festival on the 26th December 2013.

The festival of music enthusiast that will take place at the Hazelmere Dam which is situated in the north of Durban, will see some of SA’s most loved talent such as Zonke, Zahara, Hugh Masekela, Ringo, Zakes Bantwini, Naima Kay, Berita, Donald, The Muffinz and many more come together to celebrate the life of the greatest man who has ever lived.

“As a nation we have suffered a great loss with the passing of our hero Tata Madiba, this is why we see fit to dedicate The 11th  Durban Jazz Festival to the legacy that he has left behind and celebrate the amazing life that he lived” Says Wanita Ngcobo festival director.

“This is yet another opportunity to show our respect and gratitude for all that Tata Madiba has done for our country and what better way to this than with the sounds of beautiful music” continues Ngcobo

As a token of gratitude to the never ending support received from adoring fans of this spectacular festival one lucky attendee will win R20 000.00 in cash from a draw that will take place at the Durban Jazz Festival.
