I don’t think there is a single South African that isn’t excited about the fast approaching 2014 FIFA World Cup™. We all remember the phenomenal atmosphere when we were the hosts in 2010.
But there are few people in this country who are as excited as Dlozi Ndaba. You might be wondering why that is (and who that is) so let me explain.
Coca-Cola® knows that the true football fans aren’t always able to reach the live action, and so the COPA Coca-Cola®programme aims to close that gap.
The goal for COPA Coca-Cola® is to unite teens in over 60 countries around the world to celebrate their passion for football. This also highlights Coca-Cola’s drive in encouraging and promoting an active healthy lifestyle through sport participation.
Dlozi has been chosen to travel to Brazil on 10 June and realise his football dreams. He’s been obsessed with soccer since age 10, and when asked what his greatest memory is, he said being chosen for the COPA Coca-Cola® camp. He’s most looking forward to the new training methods and the different coaches.
I’m going to be following Dlozi’s journey as he ventures across the globe and gets this once in a lifetime experience to watch the FIFA World Cup™ live. Dlozi gave everything for football, now football is giving back to him with COPA Coca-Cola®!
