Eddie Zondi was born in Soweto and grew up in Kwa Zulu Natal. He schooled in KZN and came back to Johannesburg to matriculate at Embongo High school in Dlamini, Soweto. He studied at the School of Broadcasting in Braamfontein before getting a break on a small radio station at High Gate Shopping Centre.
“He attributes the success of the Soul Movement and the Sunday Soul Sessions to the fact that he is a believer of love and soul music.”
