Hey guys, last week I let you in on a secret –Lifetime is launching in South Africa this month on DStv and they are screening an original movie to get things started – A Day Late and A Dollar Short.
In preparation for this, and to get you as excited as I am, here’s a bit more of what you can expect and who you can expect it from.
Viola Price (Whoopi Goldberg) has a husband, four children and their grandchildren who she hopes to bring together.
“One thing I do know about men and kids is that they always come back. They may be a day late and a dollar short, but they always come back.” – Viola Price
In her quest to see this statement realised, she must contend with sibling rivalry, teen pregnancy and drug addiction – and that is only one child. We haven’t even gotten to her jailbird son yet.
In addition to the onscreen prowess of Goldberg (not that she need any support) we have the likes of VingRhames, Kimberley Elise and MekhiPhifer in the cast. Not to shabby as line-ups go.
