By now you know SABC 3 has unveiled their new look and that comes with new fresh content…..Well Maps Maponyane, Tumi Voster and Cindy Nell will host a new reality show “Win A Home” on SABC 3.
The show is all about reviewing some of the freshest and beautiful homes in Mzansi.
“Win A Home” premieres on Thursday, 21 August at 20h00 via SABC3.

Presented by three of South Africa’s most charismatic television personalities; Cindy Nell-Roberts, Tumi Voster and Maps Maponyane, each episode offers a look inside some of the country’s most beautiful homes while furnishing viewers with design and décor tips straight from the experts. There’s also a gripping décor competition between four design apprentices as well as the evolution of an apartment that’s transformed from an empty shell into an enviable home
that’s eventually given away to a viewer. In short, when we say Win A Home has it all – including several stylish kitchen sinks – we mean it! Each of our three presenters covers a different section of the show, the first being ‘Inspiration’.
The ‘reality competition’ aspect is presented by sassy, trendy and fun-loving 5FM radio DJ and TV presenter Tumi Voster. This follows the journey of four design apprentices who face the weekly challenge of furnishing and decorating an empty apartment within in the luxurious Steyn City Lifestyle Resort, currently being built in the north of Johannesburg. The designers will flourish under the guidance of four of South Africa’s top interior decorators; Amanda Elliot from Design Collective, Abilene Brodie from Head Interiors, Stephen Falcke from Stephen Falcke Interiors and Nthabi Taukobond from Ditau Interiors. Viewers can vote for their favourite designer each week and the stakes are as high as the ceilings in that the overall winning apprentice is awarded the opportunity to become one of Steyn City’s resident designers.
‘I love being a part of this show, it’s going to give me inspiration and great ideas for my own future home while giving viewers tons of practical ideas on how to create their dream home too’, says Tumi. ‘Also, having been a reality TV show winner myself, I know first-hand just how edge-of-your seat exciting this competition is going to be with the young up and coming designers’.
