Heineken®’s series of the much talked about” ‘Open Your City’ events kicked off at The Warm Up when Rio and Jozi came together in world class style. The second event in the series was held this past weekend (Saturday 29 November) at Zone6, Soweto.
The most recent #OpenYourCity event saw Johannesburg share the global spotlight with Shanghai, China when international dance act, Caster Crew took to the floor with local talent Artistic Intelligence. The dance crews joined forces in a dance-off of epic proportion.
The event was held in celebration of Heineken®’s ‘Open Your City’ campaign, designed to inspire South Africans to live worldly adventures by unlocking the secrets of their cities. Each event brings to life one of the 6 global cities featured on the limited-edition City bottles including Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, New York, London, Amsterdam and Johannesburg.
Don’t miss the final Heineken® #OpenYourCity event at The Sands, Sandton on 6 December 2014 where international underground hip hop artist, DJ ENVY from New York City will take to the stage with Jozi’s own AKA. Tickets will be on sale at the door on the night.
