DStv’s highly successful iRock music festival will be visiting Port Elizabeth at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for the first time in April. Music fans in the windy city can experience a full line up of South Africa’s finest talent at the DStv iRock eBhayi Music Festival on Saturday, 4 April 2015.
“After two successful years, the DStv iRock franchise is adding another city to the list – Port Elizabeth! DStv iRock Emonti was a huge success and we are proud to be extending the property in the Eastern Cape with another installment of homegrown musical excellence,” says Colleen Goodman, Head of Retention Marketing at DStv.
“DStv continues its partnership with Rawknaite Entertainment to present a music festival like no other. DStv iRock was developed as a way of giving back to our viewers through an electrifying musical experience. For each festival, we strive to provide the best South African musicians on one stage and DStv iRock eBhayi will be no different,” she adds.
With five highly attended shows already held in Limpopo, Rustenburg and Emonti over the past two years and over 33 000 people in attendance; DStv iRock has firmly established itself as South Africa’s pre-eminent local music festival.
The full line-up will be confirmed at a later stage, but house and hip hop fans can prepare themselves for over 12 hours of non-stop entertainment from popular entertainers like AKA, Beatenberg and DJ Dimplez.
