The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival, presented by Nedbank, (the music festival for food lovers and the food festival for music lovers) returns to Johannesburg onSaturday 6 June.

Organisers VWV Massive promise festival patrons mouth-watering finds in food, street-chefs and delectable trends – as well as a music line-up of world-class entertainment and local acts.

The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival first took the entertainment and culinary world by storm on it’s debut in Johannesburg in October 2013. Renowned UK celebrity chefsAldo Zilli, Ed Baines and John Burton Race showcased their signature dishes at their own pop-up restaurants. Headlining the music was British funk and acid jazz act Jamiroquai, supported by a host of top South African artists including Lira, Danny K, Khuli Chana, Prime Circle and Mi Casa.

In May 2014 the DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival returned to Johannesburg, with UK TV chef Rachel Khoo joining her South African counterparts Jenny Morris and Siba Mtongana. Top international British music acts – jazz-funk pioneers the Brand New Heavies, club favourites Soul II Soul and acid jazz outfit Incognito – headlined the sell-out festival.

Brand New Heavies and Soul II Soul were back in South Africa in December last year when The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival came to the Mother City for the first time. They were joined on the Cape Town stage by award-winning South African acts Freshly Ground, Mi Casa and The Soil along with modern folk artist Jeremy Loops. MasterChef SA judge Pete Goffe-Wood and acclaimed chef Garth Stroebel tantalised visitors’ tastebuds.

And now the DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival 2015, presented by Nedbank, is back on 6 June with full details to be released shortly by the organisers. It’s a flavoursome and not-to-be-missed banquet of great food and music.

“With food and music festivals burgeoning around the world, DStv Delicious is steadily becoming an authoritative player in that space. How else to spend a weekend than with family, music and great food”, says Colleen Goodman, Head of Retention for DStv.

The DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival, presented by Nedbank, is held in proud association with Ticketpro, Nescafe Dolce Gusto, Castle Milk Stout, Kaya FM and Mitsubishi Motors.
