Designed to inspire and enable the women of Johannesburg, South Africa, Nike Sandton is the first Nike Women’s partner store on the African continent and features bespoke services, weekly programming and tailored events.
“Nike Sandton is designed to serve the women who run, train and live the look of sport and fitness with innovative products and unique services,” says Seruscka Naidoo, Nike Africa Women’s Lead. “We are excited to continue our expression of women’s brand experiences in Africa and deepen our community engagement.”
Located in Sandton City Mall, one of the most prestigious shopping destination in Southern Africa, Nike Sandton offers a range of in-store services including Nike+ Run analysis, footwear fitting and trial, bra fitting, a personal shopper, a unique fitting room experience and a digital fitness hub.
The fitness hub includes a digital community area with Nike+ content and downloads, and a calendar displaying updated schedules and online booking for the free weekly Nike+ Training Club classes, Nike+ Run club and store events.
The store’s design incorporates local patterns unique to the Johannesburg cityscape that reflect iconic landmarks.
Connected to Nike Sandton but with its own entrance is a Nike men’s focused store, which is fitted with men’s running, training, sportswear and football, and in-store services that include many of the same options offered for women with the addition of on-site customization for football products.
Nike Sandton will open with the Summer’15 collections across running, training and sportswear.
Nike Women Sandton is located in Sandton City Mall, Shop 19L, Level 4, and open from Monday through Saturday from 9am to 8pm and Sundays from 9am to 6pm.
