To all artists who have been having a struggle it putting the puzzle together to figure out how the distributions work, well SAMRO, the Southern African Music Rights Organisation team has decided to put up a show reel video. The video explains how can an artist get royalties and also explains the different type of royalties.
– Did you know that if your music was active (performed on television, radio, pubs, clubs, concerts etc.) in 2015 you will only eligible to receive any royalty income due to you in 2016?
– Did you also know that there are different types of distributions that take throughout the year?
