The countdown has officially begun, with less than a month to go until the Vodacom Durban July.
JACK DANIEL’S BOOMTOWN, the hottest ticket on race day, Saturday 4th July, has announced even more talent in the line-up. With some of Durban’s most exciting DJs and artists – as well as SA’s rising female hip-hop star on the bill, this is set to be the best party yet.
With consistent growth over seven consecutive years, JACK DANIEL’S BOOMTOWN has proven to be the number one favored marquee at the Vodacom Durban July every single year. This year is no exception, with promoters Airey Scott announcing 13 additional acts to the already star-studded line-up.
Durban’s own WTF, Aewon Wolf, Gemini, Breeze, DJ Feel, Benny Maverick, Chynaman and Gagasi FM’s TP and Vumar have been added to give that local flare. Hip hop fans will be pleased to know that Jozi’s DJ Speedsta has also been included, along with up and coming rapper and Jack Daniel’s Music Scouts 2014 winner Gigi Lamayne. The super talented newcomer Gigi will perform her hit single Ice Cream!
The previously announced line-up includes hip-hop royalty Cassper Nyovest, AKA, Da L.E.S, KO, Riky Rik, Okmalumkoolkat and Dreamteam alongside DJ Dimplez and the Major League DJs, superstar DJs Fresh and Black Coffee, international exports Mafikizolo, Uhuru and Black Motion.
Outside of the music, JACK DANIEL’S BOOMTOWN offers Premium lounges with luxurious design and décor in addition to the frontline views of the race track. With a huge focus on fashion this year, prizes will be given for the best dressed couple at JACK DANIEL’S BOOMTOWN.
