It’s a new month, and sure you’re already asking about new shows coming to your screen. Well let’s have a look at some new shows which are set to debut during this month of July.
– Zola gets a reality show on Mzansi Magic
Zola who has recently joined SA’s popular soapie – Isibaya,is making another TV move on the side. Zola has a new reality show ‘Utatakho’ set to kick off this month on Mzansi Magic. The theme of this show is almost similar to Zola’s retro reality show ‘ZOLA 7′. ‘Utatakho’ will be a 13-part series where Zola will help individuals find their biological parents.
Utatakho starts on Tuesday 7 July at 19:30 via Mzansi Magic (channel 161).
Mzansi’s reality talent Show – Idols SA is back, wooden mic, those emotional moments and more laughter! Season 11 of Idols SA kicks off on Sunday, 12 July 2015.
Proverb is still holding it down as the host and ofcourse the judges Unathi, Randal , Gareth and Somizi who will start his journey on the show.
– Reality Check with Kelly Khumalo, iFani & Chomee
Superstars – Kelly Khumalo, iFani & Chomee are set to star in e.tv’s reality show – Reality Check. Reality Check is back for new season this month. Each week Kelly , iFani and Chomee will get their hands dirty in efforts to bring some goodwill to different charities.

– THE HUSTLE…AKA, Khuli Chana, Sammy Sosa and Tumi Molekane
South African superstars AKA, Khuli Chana, Sammy Sosa a.k.a DJ Sam Lehoko and Tumi Molekane are your hosts for the new upcoming Vuzu AMP’s talent search show “The Hustle”. The Hustle talent search show will be looking for Mzansi’s newest hip hop sensations and is set to premiere on Tuesday, 14 July 2015 at 19:30 on Vuzu AMP, channel 114 on DStv.
– Mzansi Magic new drama series ‘It’s Complicated’
Mzansi Magic continues to dish out local production and this time it’s a brand new drama series ‘It’s Complicated’. This drama series follows the lives of seven Jozi characters who are dealt with life challenges while they are busy making plans. Confronted with the choices of love and marriage, family and friendship, loyalty and expectation, they face off against the future.
It’s Complicated is for anyone who has ever wondered about their relationship choices. Tune in for riveting drama on Friday, July 24 at 19:30 on Mzansi Magic, DStv channel 161.
– What’s for dinner? with J’Something
Knorr, along with the new ‘celebrity chef’ on the block, J’Something, is teaming up with some of SA’s supermoms and celebrities to look at some of the common situations that women are faced with in the kitchen on a day to day basis. Knorr and J’Something are here to answer this question with a weekly show, Knorr whatsfordinner? with J’Something launching on July 11th at 7pm on SABC 3 and weekly every Saturday thereafter.
– SEX TALK with Kgomotso Matsunyane
SEX TALK, a fun, frank and entertaining weekly television talk show hosted by well known radio and television presenter Kgomotso Matsunyane, will be launching on July 8th and will be aired nationally on community television (on DStv and free to air platforms) from July 9th 2015.
– Maps Maponyane to host a reality show on ANN7
In the build up to the annual awards ceremony held in September last year at Johannesburg’s Sandton Convention Centre, ANN7 channel profiled some of the nominated trailblazers in a daily television offering called ‘I am South African.
Now the show will return for new season on ANN7 (DStv 405) with model, TV presenter, actor, Masego “Maps” Maponyane confirmed as the host. The show starts on the 13th of July 2015, with a look back at the highlights from 2014. Weekdays 6pm.
