MTV Base has revealed that Beyoncé, Big Sean, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna have been nominated for Best International Act at the MTV Africa Music Awards KwaZulu-Natal 2015.

The urban giants will go head to head at MAMA 2015 which will take place on Saturday 18 July at the Durban International Convention Centre, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

First introduced in 2010, the Best International Act award has been previously won by Pharrell Williams (2014) and Eminem (2010). Best International Act is the sole category that recognises the contribution of international artists at the MAMA; the remaining 17 awards categories are all awarded to African artists.
