With the brand’s iconic Air Max 95 silhouette turning 20, Nike has released two reimagined editions of the shoe, with completely different versions for men and women.
The Air Max 95 Ultra Jacquard for men and the Air Max 95 Ultra for women are available at selected Nike stores, Sportscene and Shelflife, with a price tag of around R1 600 (for women) and R2 300 (for men). respectively. Both shoes offers a new look, they use the same black, anthracite, dark gray and volt original color pallette as the original.
The Air Max 95 Ultra Jacquard, designed by Ben Yun, features a one-piece constructed upper with Flywire technology and a lightweight woven-jacquard, as well as vibrant neon accents on the eyelets, similar to the original.
The women’s Air Max 95 Ultra most resembles its original design of the two sneakers. The upper boasts the pattern of the original upper, except reversed, with the light gray closest to the outsole and the black near the shoe’s tongue.
