The second edition of ANN7 SATY 2015 awards is set for October 2015. The awards ceremony will take place at the Ticketpro Dome on Saturday, 17 October 2015. AKA, The Soil and ChianoSky has been announced as the headline performers for the night. The night will also see an attendance international artists and guests who will be announced at a later stage.
The awards will mark the second anniversary of 24-hour TV news channel Africa News Network ANN7 on August 21, 2015. This follows the exceptional success of first SATY awards and gala event held in September last year. In the second edition of the pioneering initiative, the channel will once again celebrate the extraordinary aspects of our beautiful country and its rich multi-cultural heritage.
As a build up to awards ceremony, the ‘I am South African’ show will air Mondays to Saturdays(from 20 July 2015 at 18h00) hosted by Maps Maponyane, with a total of 83 episodes profiling SA leading artists, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, politicians and athletes as they share their unique stories with the rest of South Africa.
