e.tv’s latest telenova; Ashes to Ashes has announced its season finale. The telenova was introduced on our screens in early March this year with a jam-packed cast which included: Patrick Shai, Nambitha Mpumlwana, Zenande Mfenyana, Maggie Benedict, Mandla Gaduka and more. Now it’s all set for the finale which will air on Thursday, 6 August at 8PM.
Now what can we expect on the finale?
When Mpho first met Tsietsi they didn’t exactly hit it off and she even proclaimed that she didn’t want to marry him without knowing him first. The sparks between them turned into attraction, however according to tradition, it was never meant to be.
After hitting it off with Tsietsi, eloping and being disowned by her father, Mpho came to her senses and realized that she may have married the wrong brother but it didn’t end there. She and Monwabisi started spending time, stole kisses and even enjoyed a night of passion. Their secret came out when Tsietsi found out about the affair after going through Mpho’s phone and, as expected, it was absolute mayhem in the Namane household. Monwabisi has even gone as far as pleading with Mpho to ask Tsietsi for a divorce.
The big question is: now that Mpho has been sucked into the Namane’s web of lies, deception and power, will she honour her lifelong commitment to her husband Tsietsi or will she follow her heart and run into Monwabisi’s arms?
