One cannot ignore the massive protests around the country with students fighting against the increase in their university fees. Well alot of people might be curious on how much of profit do SA universities make.
Technology and Business new site – businesstech, revealed in a report on millions of rands universities profit annually. The report shows that Unisa leads with 5.7 billion rands of revenue from 400 000 and a profit of 40 milllion rands. Then followed by Stellenbosch University which makes 5.4 billion from 30 150 students and a profit of 991.0 million rands.
