Zakes Bantwini and AKA are back at it for round two! The 2 award-winning musicians will be battling it out on the soccer pitch for Breast Cancer Awareness month as part of Bantwini’s initiative called 1GoalforCancer.
The star-studded soccer match, which is being organised by ECHO Events, is due to take place at Discovery Soccer Park on 2 November, due to a busy overseas travel schedule in October for both Bantwini and AKA. The teams will be looking super stylish on the pitch this year, as Team Zakes’ kit will be sponsored by adidas while Team AKA’s kit will be sponsored by Nike.
Team Zakes includes Doctor Khumalo, Donald, Slikour, Good Hope FM’s DJ Lloyd, Minnie Dlamini, Moneoa and Pearl Thusi.
Meanwhile, Team AKA includes Lennox Bacela from Tuks FC, Darren and Ryan known as Twins on Decks, DJ Fanatic, DJ Franky, Kwesta, Nandi Mngoma, Kid X, Ma-E, Siya Mdluli aka Cashtime Siya and club owner, promoter and director, Allesio.
